The SS Tandoor: Tradition Meets Engineering
Traditional tandoors were heavy, stationary, and prone to cracking. Modern SS Tandoors solve these issues with a multi-layered design:
Outer Body: Crafted from premium SS 304 or 202 grade steel, providing a sleek, rust-resistant, and professional finish that is easy to sanitize.
Inner Core: Usually features a high-grade handmade clay pot or a ceramic refractory lining to ensure that “earthy” flavor and intense heat retention.
Insulation: High-density glass wool or rock wool fills the gap between the steel and the pot, keeping the exterior cool to the touch while maintaining internal temperatures above 400°C.
